As a rule, I don't recommend Software Packages, especially Equipment Management Programs, but about two and a half years ago I received a trial copy of a PM program and, after seeing it set on my desk for a week or so, I said, " Oh, what the heck," opened up the pack, took out the CD and followed the on screen directions. Not only did the program perform flawlessly, but everything seemed to be in the right place. When you entered data everything you needed was at your fingertips.
Mr. Richard Overturf is an ex-CBET producing and writing a program called HarvestCEMS, Clinical Equipment Management Systems, one of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to or do business with! My package came with my entire facilities inventory pre-loaded and all I had to do was start working with it!
This program will work a small or large Clinical Engineering or independent Bio-Med organization. All this and more, will not cost you anywhere near some of the so-called grand maintenance programs.
